Why Buhari is my Candidate of Choice

I believe in the man called Buhari. In my 30 minutes chat with him last year, he made one impression: he is humble and sincere in all that he does. In his small guest room at his Sultan Close residence Kaduna, Buhari told me that he had three options to explore then: returning to ANPP, forming an alliance with other existing political parties, and forming a new party. He was very categorical about the first option: I don't think we are going back to ANPP because the people controlling the party have sold out to the ruling party. One of them has a case with EFCC and they are using this to keep him at bay. You will recall how the party leadership maltreated me when I was pursuing my case in the courts. They have joined the ruling party for patrimony. Our talks with the megaparty are not progressing as we expected but we hope it will be fruitful. If this does not work, we are forming our own party. You will get to know very soon. Eventually, the first two options never worked, Buhari and his supporters floated the CPC. He is a man of vision. He may not be as exposed to the western world as many of the brilliant chaps in the Jonathan's camp but he is more focused; he understands better the challenges of our nation and how to overcome them. He is independent-minded, incorruptible, practical and alert to his responsibilities. With his upright, visionary, and purposeful leadership, it will be much easier to get the captains of the ship that will serve as ministers, advisers and aides to move the country forward. The foundation of every credible leadership is mutual trust. You can only give your love (vote) to someone you know very well and you can trust. Such a man should earn your trust not purchase it with money or material things like contracts, wrappers, bag of rice, soap, salt and other consumables. Such a person should be able to display his score card of previous achievements NOT stolen credit. For me, Buhari and Bakare are candidates of choice. I recommend them to every Nigerian voter that want to see positive changes in our country.
